BMW 530, 2010, Nurmijärvi

For sale: a very tidy and well-equipped factory M-Sport LCI 530xi E61 (2010).

The car has mainly been used for long-distance driving and has been kept meticulously. Similar late-lifecycle petrol four-wheel drives are very rarely available on the Finnish market! Just washed and vacuumed!

Inspected without remarks on 4 August 2026 (driving time until 8/2027). Expensive common faults already sorted! No swaps.

Overall condition (mechanics, body, interior)

• Really tidy both inside and out considering the mileage. The engine runs smoothly and pulls strongly without hesitation.

• Drivetrain in good condition, four-wheel drive works flawlessly and the suspension does not clunk.

• The rear seat leather trim has always been protected under child seats.

• Moderate fuel consumption for its size and engine (motorway/mixed driving around 500 km judged reasonable (photo)).

Honestly known minor faults / notes (reflected in the price):

• A small paint chip on the right sill (repaired with touch-up paint and clear coat). Small early rust spot on the edge of the tailgate.

• The left headlight gathers moisture in rain (dries in 1–2 days).

• There is a slight oil seep from the gearbox/transfer case (normal seepage, does not affect use or inspection).

• The steering wheel vibrates when braking (no play found on the lift or during alignment, front brakes opened, freed up and cleaned – the new brake discs may be slightly warped).

• The lifter(s) tick when cold / after standing for a few seconds after start-up (a characteristic of the N53 engine).

• The alternator occasionally makes noise at idle/low revs.

  
  

Tyre type and condition

• Summer tyres: BMW OEM STYLE 135 (genuine M-Sport rims 8x18"). Straight and vibration-free, minor curb rash. Tyres are Triangle Sportex (245/40R18), tread 5–6 mm.

• Winter tyres: 17" MSW 19 (Design by OZ) rims in very good condition. Michelin studded tyres (215/55R17), plenty of tread, but due to age (13 years) they are due for replacement.

Service and repairs

Comprehensive service book and a large pile of receipts included. Services carried out diligently on time.

Latest services (2025–2026):

7/2026 (306,900 km): Rear right wheel bearing and hub replaced.

7/2026 (306,320 km): Engine oil, oil filter and differential oil changed. Filters cleaned, rear brakes freed up.

6/2026: Four-wheel alignment carried out.

4/2026 (301,000 km): Air conditioning serviced (blows cold even in hot weather).

12/2025 (295,509 km): Oil change + additives (engine cleaner, X-1R, Red Line Seal Saver), VANOS filters cleaned, engine oil pressure checked (all OK).

11/2025: Tailgate Bluetooth module replaced.

8/2025: Windscreen replaced with a new one.

5/2025 (284,000 km): Major suspension overhaul (new joints, bushes, control arms, track rods and drop links).

3/2025 (282,000 km): Air springs, air suspension compressor, alternator and tailgate gas struts replaced (€1,461).

2/2025: New Exide AGM 96Ah / 850A battery + coding.

Expensive common faults and major repairs already done:

• Index 11 injectors replaced, coded and adapted (8/2020 / 247k km, €2,054) – the main expensive N53 engine fault has been dealt with!

• Drivetrain: prop shaft, rear differential and front and rear drive shafts replaced (1/2021, €3,557). Differential and final drive oils changed 3/2021.

• OEM BMW high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) and NOx sensor replaced (8/2018, €2,150).

• Tailgate wiring loom repaired (9/2020).

• Oil sump gasket, oil cooler + filter housing gasket and oil pressure sensor renewed.

• Bilstein front shock absorbers and springs, gearbox oil, air-conditioning compressor, starter motor and serpentine belt kit renewed.
