Features include spatial audio with dynamic head tracking, so you feel like the sound is coming from every direction.

Spatial audio
Enjoy the best possible sound when watching films and series. Dynamic head tracking and built-in gyroscopes and accelerometers track your head movements and create amazing spatial sound.

Siri virtual assistant
Use voice commands to control playback, adjust the volume and check battery level, or ask the virtual assistant for information on the weather or the quickest route. Voice-detecting microphones using beamforming technology ensure crystal-clear voice recognition, so you can leave your iPhone in your pocket.

Control button
Answer calls and control music playback with the button on the earbud. The earbud and microphone work normally whether you use both earbuds or only one.

Connectivity and compatibility
AirPods use Apple’s enhanced H1 chip for ultra-fast pairing with iPhone. You can also connect them to other devices such as older iPhone models, Mac computers, iPads or iPod touch via Bluetooth. New AirPods are compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices running iOS 12.2 or later. They are also compatible with Apple Watch smartwatches running watchOS 5.2 or later, and Mac devices running macOS 10.14.4 or later.

Pairing and integration
Pair AirPods with your iPhone effortlessly. Hold the charging case near the iPhone for a moment and tap the pairing button that appears on the screen. The earbuds switch on automatically and connect instantly to your iPhone when removed from the charging case. They are also set up automatically for use with Apple Watch, Mac or iPad via iCloud integration.

Sweat and water resistant
New AirPods can also be used during intense exercise.

Battery life
These compact AirPods provide an amazing six hours of battery life on a full charge. The included charging case extends the total battery life to up to 30 hours, and just five minutes of fast charging provides up to one hour of listening time.

Wireless MagSafe charging case
The wireless MagSafe charging case can be charged by placing it on a MagSafe charger or a Qi-compatible wireless charger. It can also be charged via the Lightning port on the bottom.
