For sale is a real head-turner, a "Wäyrynen".

First, the body: overall the car is tidy, with some marks in the paintwork, but it is almost a "rust-free Wäyrynen".

The underside has been fully gone through, welded and undersealed; the rear subframe was blasted and painted while disassembled.

All brake parts and brake lines have been renewed, as well as the control arms, bushings and joints.

Wheel alignment done.

Then the engine.

• Original OM606 300Tbo, the body’s own engine.

• Cylinder head work done at a machine shop, exhaust ports cleaned up, Jonte springs, naturally aspirated cams (locked), timing advanced and measured.

• In the lower end, all new shell and main bearings, pistons machined and new rings, Cflinen H-beam rods/ARP bolts (weighed with pistons, weight difference 1 g)

• Stress plate.

• Additional locking made to the damper so it cannot rotate.

• Mynadiesel 8 mm pump with billet ALDA (new), injectors also built by Mynadiesel.

• TIG-welded exhaust manifold, 52 Holset with 16 housing, separate outlets from the manifold for a 60 wastegate, from front to back 4" stainless steel exhaust with great sound.

• Billet flywheel, 6-paddle sprung sintered clutch, Sachs 765SRE (all new)

• Gearbox is a ZF37 6-speed

• The rear axle is currently a welded diff with large driveshafts and 2.87 gearing, which is very pleasant for long-distance driving.

The engine has now been driven 200 km and confirmed to work properly. Power should be around 500 with fairly modest tuning. Dyno sheet included.

The car has passed inspection with clean papers!
