Defects and other observations

In recent years, the engine has started easily, and has also stopped easily when cold. When warm, it has run well. The spark plugs were changed this summer. The last time in the water it also started well, but after half a kilometre it suddenly stopped. I managed to start it again many times, and it seems that it was only running on one cylinder. Who knows, but it clearly needs servicing.


The boat was built in the 1960s. It does need some work to make it neat. The bottom is fibreglass-laminated well above the waterline. There are cracks visible in the photos, but as said, it is laminated, so it does not leak. The boat's running attitude has been very good, like an iron on the water.
