Here’s a rare treat for sale!

A work of art built in Finland by a top professional, based on John L. Hacker’s Runabout design.

This boat is practically new, so it does not have the problems common to old “restored” boats — it is not rotten.

Built in 2014, when a new engine was installed (MerCruiser 5.7 L, 250 hp, Thunderbolt 5 ignition).

This package has been run for a maximum of 100 hours.

The boat is shaft-driven and therefore runs perfectly straight.

The engine is mid-mounted, so the V8 sounds are reasonably restrained despite the straight pipes (see video).

Comes with a new chartplotter with charts; it is not fixed to the dash because I don’t think it suits the period look.

All basic boating gear included: ropes, fenders (4, braided from rope), anchor, fire extinguisher, a good-condition mooring cover, etc.

An unregistered trailer made to fit this boat is included.

There is practically no planing threshold on this boat, so it can glide at under ten knots.

You can’t appreciate the acceleration until you try it yourself (see video).

With the current propeller it is very economical to run; top speed around 35 knots (≈65 km/h), with a smaller propeller easily over 40 knots (≈74 km/h).

The boat is in the water — come for a sea trial to see its condition and how well it handles.

Kept in heated storage.

Length 6.86 m, beam 1.86 m, weight 1,200 kg, registered for 6 persons, fuel tank just over 100 litres.
