This car was imported used from Germany to Finland (in 2011). So it is already familiar with Finnish conditions.

Defects and other observations

On a short test drive we made the following observations

  • The summer tyres are getting close to the limit

  • The car warns that it is riding too low. The air suspension does not raise itself enough. According to the customer (and the receipts), there is apparently a fault in the A/C distribution block. (replacement part approx. EUR 150). Not investigated further. A Mercedes guy can do it himself.

  • According to the previous owner, when cold there has sometimes been a short "scraping hiss" when shifting 1->2, but I could not get the sound to appear, neither cold nor warm. Probably nothing scary, as it does not happen all the time.

  • Bulb fault warning -> one fog light does not work.

  • It felt comfortable to drive and accelerated and went along nicely. It is quite powerful.

  • The transmission seemed to shift as it should.

  • Does not pull to one side or clunk. You can clearly tell it has been looked after (the customer had a 70 km/day commute).


It has been driven a lot, but this engine probably never ends if serviced.


Mercedes guys and those who intend to become one! Now is your time. These "six-cylinder" cars are rare.



The car has not been through a technical condition inspection by us, and the functionality of all equipment has not been tested. It may have hidden defects that we did not notice on the test drive.
