Restored Bluebird rescued from a museum project and built for sale.

The body modifications have been done in sheet metal, so there are no fibreglass parts on the car.


The car is being sold to make room for everyday life, so someone else can enjoy it more than I do.


I have used the car in summer and it works as it should. It has also just been inspected, so you can drive it worry-free for a few years.

The car has new tyres, and it also comes with 2 additional new tyres without rims. It also includes some parts, such as the front bumper and cones, as well as the original parcel shelf.

A few noted faults are listed below. The mileage is not verified.

The car is fairly low, as can be seen from the pictures, so care is needed over speed bumps.


The car was repainted in 2024, and the engine was also overhauled then.


Modifications and servicing to the engine, drivetrain and chassis

  • Engine oil, filter and differential oil changed in spring 2026, about 1,000 km ago.

  • Fuse boxes replaced with new ones.

  • Front disc brakes, with brake servo and brake pressure regulator (visible in the pictures)

  • New front shock absorbers and stiff short springs

  • Stiff anti-roll bar bushes and shorter drop links.

  • 60 mm lowering blocks at the rear

  • Stiffer rear leaf springs and new shock absorbers

  • 13" chrome steel rims


Body modifications

  • All rust spots were repaired by a professional before painting. At the same time, the front bumper was reshaped in sheet metal to a different design, and the rear bumper was modified more heavily, also in sheet metal. The rear arches were slightly widened.

  • Door seals replaced

  • Spare wheel well removed


Interior

  • Interior almost completely rebuilt in 2025

  • CTK 3.0 butyl mat installed across the entire floor

  • Entire floor trim redone

  • Retro bucket seats

  • 2026 Sparco 3-point seat belts

  • Hardwood racing steering wheel

  • Parcel shelf made to suit my own taste.
