The car is in the yard at Wetteri in Kajaani, Sokajärventie 2. The car must be picked up during Wetteri service opening hours and the keys can be collected from the service desk!

You may view the car from outside in Wetteri's yard!

Based on inspections, there is plenty of metal shavings in the oil filter. The engine oil also sparkles heavily. These can be seen in the pictures.

The car therefore requires a new engine and turbo with installation parts to get it back in order.

Here is a fully gone-through X5 for the next owner.
The engine has been rebuilt and the following parts, for example, have been replaced:

- all lower-end bearings

- oil pump inspected and balanced

- timing chain system

- VANOS

- flywheel / vibration damper

- oil pressure solenoid

- valve cover

- oil level sensor

- crankshaft position sensor

- valve actuator motor

- fuel pump

- thermostat

- turbo replaced

- plastic coolant hose outlet, which
often breaks on these, replaced
with aluminium

- spark plugs

- starter + belt

- catalytic converter

- both lambda sensors

- and of course all gaskets,
seals, O-rings etc.


In addition, the following parts were replaced in the same job:

- both front wheel bearings

- gearbox oil pan
(the filter is inside it)

- gearbox, transfer case,
front differential and rear differential oils

- transfer case calibrated

- radiant heater installed

- new batteries


I have probably forgotten to mention many other things. After this repair, 2,000 km of running-in driving was done and now new oil and filter have been changed.


In 2024 the windscreen and all brake parts were renewed.


The car has good equipment including an M Sport interior with fully electric seats, soft-close doors, HUD, panoramic glass roof, electric tailgate, 360 camera etc. The car is sold on original 19" rims (the black wheels shown in the pictures are no longer included). For summer, there are original M Sport rims with new tyres (driven 1,000 km) and for winter good Hakkapeliitta 9 studded tyres on original rims. Original fabric and rubber floor mats.


This is a good car for someone for a long time, and with sensible oil change intervals, for even longer.
