Defects and other observations

During the test drive we made the following observations:


  • The car was driven on a test drive of about 5 km, and the gearbox and engine felt normal while driving, with no extra rattling or clunking when going over a speed bump

  • The air conditioning and heating work, but the blower does not run at full power

  • The electric window lifts work a bit weakly on the driver’s door, but they do work

  • The fan keeps running for a while after the engine is switched off

  • Airbag warning light on, possible connector fault under the front seats?

  • The car only has one set of tyres (winter tyres on alloy wheels, tread depth 5-6 mm)

  • Wear on the bodywork

  • Before inspection, it had to be jump-started and some warning lights came on in the instrument cluster due to a weak battery. After that it started normally and there were no other warning lights apart from the airbag light.

  • Incomplete service records for the last 10 years and 40,000 km.
