This car still needs work, and this unit is not going to win any beauty contests. There are clear issues with the paintwork and colour differences (see photos), but with a bit of care and work this could certainly still make a smart shopping car for a long time.

Known notes:


Mechanics & warning lights: The car moves forwards and backwards and can be driven normally despite the warning lights. Warning lights are on in the instrument cluster (see picture). According to the previous owner, a workshop thought the fault is probably in a sensor somewhere. This has not been investigated further by us or by the previous owner, as it had already been replaced by a RAV4, so there is no definite information on the cause.


Hybrid system: Appears to be working well. The car can move on battery power alone, and when more throttle is applied the combustion engine starts completely normally.

There is a louder noise from the exhaust system when the combustion engine is running, as if a “sports exhaust boost”. This has not been investigated further, and the catalytic converter is probably missing.
