Order for the whole family or for party-goers

The Cube Step In Hot Tub — just Cube among friends — has American-sized proportions. Two metres by two metres gives four square metres of splash or relaxation area. Small children can even swim in this tub! Adults should put on goggles, because there is plenty of room to splash and play. And when the children are sent to bed, Cube can fit the whole neighbourhood’s mums and dads and even grandma — this tub can hold up to 12 people without breaking any records. You can, of course, treat yourself and get a Cube as a single-person luxury tub where even the tallest bather can float without hitting head or feet on the edge. You can dive in other than the foetal position. Cube is also guaranteed to be a hit at home parties — it has no roof, so you can admire every season from the tub.

With Hyvän Kaupan Paikka hot tubs, summers are always warm and beautiful. In autumn you can admire the surrounding colours from warm water. In winter you can brave the cold with just a hat and enjoy a hot soak. In spring the hot tub promises the coming summer — a head start on sunny days.

More bathing space without much extra water use

The Cube can hold over 2,200 litres if filled to the brim. That is unnecessary, as when eight to twelve bathers enter the warm water a lot will spill over the edge. We recommend filling to around 1,800 litres, which is only a couple of hundred litres more than a standard tub. Even in water-rich Finland, there’s no need to turn the Cube into a once-only garden geyser. Estimating the right water level for the number of bathers is easy to learn.

Step In step is versatile

You wouldn’t think one plastic step could be so useful, but it is. We designed the Step In step to make entering the Cube easy. The step helps you climb out of the tub, serves as a seat for a smaller child and works well as an armrest — turning the Cube into a useful water armchair. The Step In solution makes the Cube suitable for all ages and helps bathers with limited mobility. Tired limbs are easier to lower into warm water with the help of the Cube’s Step In step.

The Cube’s design pays special attention to the corners: corner seats have backrests, so sitting in the corners is comfortable rather than rigid.

Plenty of options

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka the customer is always right, so we offer options for the Cube’s interior. Choose the tub colour from five options and decide the Step In step position in relation to the stove. You can also choose the exterior cladding material from three options and the lid colour in black or grey. The tub colours are nature-inspired, such as sea blue or lichen grey. All shades are compatible and work well together.

Gentle heat, efficiently

Our efficient marine-aluminium Arctic stove heats the water to bathing temperature in a couple of hours. The 35 kW stove is durable and a good conductor of heat. It has a beautiful viewing window, so you can enjoy the fire glow without opening the door to check the fire.

Our marine-aluminium stoves are made in Finland and are included in the hot tub package. The powerful stove tolerates both fresh and brackish water. Thoughtful material choices make the stove an excellent product. The stove package includes two metres of chimney pipe and a rain cap; see the accessories list if you want extra pipe, a chimney protective grille or spark guard.

Note: chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium, as it oxidises the metal. We recommend changing the water regularly and using active oxygen tablets (see accessories). Active oxygen treats water for about 24 hours, after which the water can be used for watering as it contains no added chemicals and is safer for children. Untreated water can quickly form a slimy surface on the tub edge, which active oxygen prevents.

Turbocharged super stove!

An optional extra is a super-strong 50 kW stove that brings your tub to temperature almost in one go. With this turbocharged stove the Cube’s water can heat in about an hour in winter and faster in summer. A three-pipe system improves circulation between the stove and the tub. With this stove your drinks may not cool fast enough, but you’ll hardly hear complaints about quick heating.

Carefree plastic tub

The uniquely shaped, comfort-focused Cube tub is rotationally moulded polyethylene by Jaxal. This plastic has memory — it keeps the shape it was moulded into. The low-maintenance tub stands the test of time, and we therefore offer a ten-year warranty.

Because the plastic tub has no moulded seams, dirt cannot gather in hidden places. Remember to keep tub surfaces clean when changing water. This is easy with ordinary cleaning agents. Fastidious users may occasionally disinfect the tub, but remember to manage wastewater correctly.

Wood on the surface, insulation underneath — all domestic quality

At our Oulu factory the Cube receives its final wooden finish. The exterior cladding uses Lunawood deep-heat-treated wood that ages beautifully. You may apply wood protector, oil or paint, but untreated wood greys elegantly over the years. Beneath the wood, the Cube’s heart is thermoplastic insulation on the sides and a carefully made EPS insulation layer over 40 cm thick under the tub, keeping you warm even in hard winters. The Cube is automatically a winter model, but summer use is, of course, allowed.

Finnish quality craftsmanship
