The timber has been off the ground on EPS (Styrofoam) boards, supported with spacers, so air has been able to circulate during the entire storage period. The wood has remained dry and has not been constantly exposed to moisture.

The tarpaulin did not fully cover the ends and edges of the stack, so sunlight UV has greyed the wood’s surface a few centimetres from the ends and edges — only the surface. This is normal surface greying and does not affect the wood’s strength or load-bearing capacity. If required, the greyed surface can be removed by planing or sanding.

The goods are located in Luusniemi, South Savo, where the buyer will collect them.
