EVO2 is a renewed version of the popular Cooltron Reco 60 room ventilation unit. Minimalist matte-white design and a new stylish remote control.

The popular Reco 60 has been updated to become the Reco 60 EVO2. The unit now features an elegant matte-white finish that blends better with Finnish home interiors. The EVO2 can be connected directly to the 230 V mains discreetly. The unit is still delivered with a plug, which is the primary connection option. A completely new, more stylish remote control has also been developed for the unit.

In detached houses ventilation accounts for about 30–40% of energy consumption; with the Reco 60 EVO2 you can recover up to 90% of that energy. The Cooltron Reco 60 converts natural ventilation into mechanical ventilation easily. The unit is designed to provide continuous, controlled ventilation to the installed space by bringing fresh air in and exhausting stale air. The unit’s ceramic heat exchanger recovers heat from the exhaust air with up to 90% efficiency, so besides fresh indoor air you can also reduce heating costs. In summer the Reco 60 can reduce the cooling need of an air-source heat pump, as the exhaust air cools the heat exchanger and the warm supply air.

The Reco 60 is well suited for garages, storage spaces and holiday cabins. It can also improve ventilation in detached houses that use natural ventilation. Larger spaces may need multiple units to achieve adequate ventilation; in such cases units’ cycles can be timed so some extract while others supply air simultaneously.

The unit is designed for through-wall installation. Its telescopic structure allows installation in wall thicknesses of 250 mm–400 mm. A Ø165 mm hole is made in the wall for installation. The unit is easy to power using the supplied plug and a standard socket.

The ventilation unit is sized for continuous use and should remain connected to the mains. The unit is controlled by the supplied remote control or by the buttons on the unit’s edge. The unit significantly reduces heat loss, pollen, moisture and carbon dioxide, creating a pleasant indoor climate. The unit can be fitted with a separately sold HEPA 11 filter, which effectively removes allergenic particles from room air.
