The Austter heavy-duty chipper can process small volumes of softwood branches up to 150 mm thick (poplar/thuja/larch/aspen). Absolute maximum for hard woods is 120 mm (birch/alder/spruce/pine/willow/maple). Fitted with a wide axle and large tyres to make towing over rough ground easier.
