For sale: a road-legal, working Ligier JS50 microcar. It has been used by two young drivers with us for about 6 years and has never left us stranded.


This microcar has a low-consumption Progress diesel engine, consumption around 3.5–4.0 L/100 km.


The car has been serviced regularly on schedule; brake calipers/pads replaced as needed.

Rear shock absorbers were renewed about two years ago.

Defects and other observations

  • The central locking stopped working and, probably for that reason, the tailgate does not open by pressing the release button. The door locks still operate normally with the key.

  • The front passenger electric window does not work.

  • There is a crack at the bottom edge of the windscreen that occurred with the previous owner; it does not affect use and is barely visible.

  • There was a small impact to the right rear corner and there are some glued cracks on the rear bumper.

  • The front bumper arrived to us broken at both lower edges but has been repaired with plastic welding. One repair is not perfect and is slightly visible in the photos.

  • The seats' faux-leather covering is worn at the outer edge; the interior is otherwise tidy.

  • There are no oil leaks and the car is otherwise in good mechanical condition. The left front brake caliper was replaced about 4 months ago.
