Warm-running and reliable Volvo S60 with a 2.4-litre petrol engine. It has a combo that won't leave anyone cold.


In this example there are, of course, things to fix: the engine warning light is on. I took the car to a mechanic who noted problems with the engine timing. A VVT pulley and timing overhaul should be done. I don't have the skills to tackle this myself, especially the VVT pulley, but if you have the expertise and tools, go for it! I've had the car for approx. a year and driven about 21,000 km, and there were no problems before this. Very comfortable to drive on both short and long journeys. Additionally, the air conditioning was recently serviced and the engine has fresh oil and a new filter. The air filter was changed at the same time.


The car shows little rust and is in nice condition for its age. The inspection is valid until 30 March 2027, and the sale includes 2 × tyres on alloy wheels; the winter tyres are Volvo original — the other set is shown in the photos. The starter battery was also replaced in winter. A good project car for someone handy to keep for a long time!
