  • fabric roof intact and operational; two straps inside the roof have come off their fastenings, which can mean that when the roof is closed you may need to push the rear window and fabric joint back into place by a few centimetres. I have fitted new straps but they could be tightened further to work properly; good instructions can be found online.

  • The seat and steering-wheel control unit is apparently faulty as it draws current while the car is parked. Functions work; it stops drawing current when the control-unit connector is disconnected. The connector is under the front edge of the seat and is easy to unplug and reconnect.

  • The interior was painted at some point; the paint is partly worn and apparently hardened the driver’s seat cushion, causing a crack.
