So-called through model. For its age the vehicle is in relatively good condition overall, but the head gasket has gone. While waiting for inspiration the MOT has already expired, so suitable for a DIY/mechanic person.

Diagnostics run (no fault codes, injection pressure etc. OK in live data). Timing of the timing case and valve movement checked. Compression: cylinder 1 OK, 2 and 4 low, 3 none at all. Leak-down test shows pressure from cylinder 3 leaking directly into cylinders 2 and 4. Most likely the piston rings are damaged because of the head gasket. Missing A-pillar trims and the plastic behind the driver's mirror; these can be bought new for a few tens of euros.
