EVO2 is a refreshed version of the popular Cooltron Reco 60 room ventilation unit. Minimalist matt-white design and a new stylish remote control.

The popular Reco 60 has been updated to become the Reco 60 EVO2. The unit now features an elegant matt-white finish that blends better with Finnish home interiors. The EVO2 can be connected directly to the 230 V mains unobtrusively. The unit is still supplied with a plug, which is the primary connection option. A completely new and more stylish remote control has also been developed.

In single-family homes, ventilation accounts for about 30–40% of energy use; with the Reco 60 EVO2 you can recover up to 90% of that energy. The Cooltron Reco 60 converts natural ventilation into mechanical ventilation easily. The unit is designed to provide continuous, controlled ventilation to the installed space by bringing fresh air in and expelling stale air. The unit's ceramic heat exchanger recovers heat from the exhaust air with up to 90% efficiency, so besides fresh indoor air you can reduce heating costs. In summer the Reco 60 can reduce cooling demand from an air-source heat pump, as the exhaust air cools the incoming warm air in the exchanger.

Reco 60 is well suited for garages, storerooms and holiday cottages, for example. It can also improve ventilation in single-family homes that currently rely on natural ventilation. Larger spaces may require multiple units to achieve adequate ventilation. Units' operating cycles can be scheduled so some blow out while others blow in simultaneously.

The ventilation unit is designed for through-wall installation. The telescopic structure allows installation in wall constructions 250 mm–400 mm thick. A hole of d=165 mm is required for installation. The unit is easy to power using the supplied plug directly from a mains socket.

The unit is designed for continuous operation and is intended to remain connected to the mains. The unit is controlled via the supplied remote control or the buttons on the unit's edge. The device significantly reduces heat loss, pollen, moisture and carbon dioxide, creating pleasant indoor air. The unit can be equipped with an optional HEPA 11 filter, which effectively removes allergenic particles from room air.
