  • fabric roof intact and functional; inside the roof two straps have come loose from their fixings, which can mean that when the roof is closed you may need to adjust the rear window/fabric junction by a few centimetres. I have fitted new straps but they could be tightened further to work properly; good instructions can be found online.

  • seat and steering-wheel control unit apparently faulty as it draws current while the car is parked; functions work. It stops drawing power if the control unit connector is disconnected — the connector is under the front edge of the seat and is easy to disconnect and reconnect.

  • interior was painted at some point; paint partly worn. The paint apparently hardened the driver seat cushion, causing a crack in the seat pad.
