This is up for auction: a four-wheel drive Toyota Hiace 2.5 D-4D 117 4WD GL minibus, offering space for up to 9 people. It is a Finnish car, and this legendary Hiace 2.5 D-4D engine type is known for unusually durable and reliable engineering. The vehicle has a very long inspection validity: the next inspection is not until 29/04/2027.

The latest service was carried out on 13/11/2025 at 588,000 km, and new batteries have just been fitted.

There are two sets of tyres on alloy wheels: the summer tyres (Radial) have plenty of tread left and for winter there are Hankook studded tyres with acceptable tread (some studs have come off). The windscreen is clean and intact, and most vehicle electronics and equipment work well.

To be honest, defects and observations to note: On a test drive the vehicle stalled and produced an error code for the EGR valve. Error codes have been cleared, and the garage has not been able to reproduce the fault even on a longer test drive (garage recommendation: clean the EGR valve). In addition the side sliding door does not operate electrically, the rear hatch locking mechanism is broken and there is extra noise/clunking from the front end.
