For sale is a basic, tidy fourth‑generation VW Golf that, considering its age and mileage, still serves reasonably well. The car is drivable and no major technical faults have been observed. The vehicle is sold in the condition and with the equipment shown in the pictures and the advertisement.

🚗 Mechanics and drivability

• Driving feel: Fundamentally good, and the mechanicals appear to work without major issues.

• Tyres and wheels: Fitted with striking 17‑inch alloy wheels (tyres 225/45ZR17). Please note that due to the wide low‑profile tyres they can rub slightly against the wheel arches while driving.

• Noises: At idle there is extra rattling, likely from the exhaust heat shield.

🚙 Body and exterior

• Colour: Dark blue metallic.

• Appearance: The look has been enhanced with aftermarket alloy wheels, a boot spoiler, C‑pillar louvers, tinted rear windows and a “Race Sport” exhaust tip.

• Equipment: The car has a towbar.

• Condition: The body shows age‑related wear and rust. There is clear rust damage where the front wing meets the sill. There is other rust on the body that may not be clearly visible in the photos.

🛋️ Interior and fittings

• Front seats: The driver’s seat has a clear tear on the side with the padding showing through.

• Cabin: The gear lever gaiter is torn and the knob is taped on. The steering wheel surface is worn.

• Rear: One rear door is missing its speaker and window winder (wiring is exposed).
