Volvo S80, 2007, Hämeenlinna

For sale: a well-maintained and very well functioning Volvo S80 with a powerful and reliable 3.2‑litre naturally aspirated engine. The car is Summum trim, which includes e.g. light leather seats (driver's seat electrically adjustable with memory), xenon headlights, cruise control, parking sensors front and rear, high performance sound, rain sensor, heated front and rear seats, etc. The car also has a detachable towbar. The car has seen little use and is therefore for sale.

Two sets of tyres, both on alloy wheels. Summer tyres on Volvo alloys with 6–7 mm tread. Winter tyres are friction/studdless with 6–7 mm tread. Both tyre sets were manufactured in 2021.

Swedish car, imported to Finland in 2019. Service book contains entries from the Swedish period. There are no entries after import, but according to the previous owner the engine oil was changed annually in spring. I acquired the car in early 2025 and have maintained it since. Receipts are available showing when parts were replaced.

Pros:

• Well equipped

• Runs well and very comfortable to drive

• Relatively tidy body and interior for its age

• Powerful and reliable 3.2‑litre straight-six

• Major auxiliary-drive service done and generally well serviced/repaired

• Air conditioning cools quickly

• Seats cleaned and treated with AutoGlym leather balm, making them pleasantly supple.

Cons:

• Normal wear and tear

• Driver's seat upholstery slightly torn on the left side

• Driver-side door mirror heating does not work

• Some early rust spots in a few places; these have been sanded and painted with a brush.

• The driver's window has been put back in place — a piece of the seal had to be cut away. No water has entered and there are no marks on the door panel. If the window is opened, the seal may need to be repositioned. It has been like this for over a year.

• The interior handle mechanism on the right rear door has been fixed with a cable-tie solution — it still holds together and the door is usable.

• The right rear door does not always lock on the first try; often you need to open and lock the doors again for that door to lock.

• Small scratch on the windscreen from an old wiper blade

• One stone chip in the windscreen (I will have this repaired under glass insurance before sale)
