The engine starts and runs forward/reverse but observations of repair items include, among others:

  • The engine's tilt motor is badly rusted and its operation is very unreliable and intermittent.

  • Water-mixed oil is coming from the gearbox, i.e. at least the shaft seals are leaking.

  • The thermostat cannot be opened (bolts break).

  • All bushings and rubbers in the steering and engine mounting are completely worn; there is large play in the steering in every direction.

  • All control rods, tilt rods and similar parts are corroded and seized.

  • Many other faults that were not examined in detail.
