Defects and other observations

During a short test drive we made the following observations:

  • NOTE! THE TRUE STATUS OF WARNING LIGHTS IS UNKNOWN — THE CAR IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO BE STARTED AT ALL!

  • Reported by the owner -> mechatronics unit faulty. This has not been confirmed by us.

  • Initially would not start even with auxiliary power. Eventually started with jump-starter/boosters. The car tends to roll backwards. Technicians suspected electrical faults. Air filter, gearbox selector plastics and fuse box cover already removed. Battery only partly secured.

  • Broken wires observed in the engine bay. Fault memory contains error code P0797 (transmission pressure control module).

  • We have allowed a slightly longer viewing period for this lot, so it's worth coming to see and experience the Ford for yourself!


The car has not been subject to a technical condition inspection by us and not all equipment has been tested. There may be hidden faults we did not detect during the test drive. It is possible to inspect the car in more detail before making a binding bid. Please arrange your visit in advance, thank you.
