Yamaha XVS Bobber, 1999, 649 cm³, 69,000 km, Imatra

I don't urgently need to sell the bike, but I have less time to ride and new plans for next season, so this should go to someone who likes bobbers and has more time to cruise into the sunset.

The bike is in top condition and just needs to be ridden.

Starts with the button and is ready to go without any fiddling.

The bike was customised to my taste 4 years ago and has been carefully serviced then and again this year without any gimmicks.

Looks better in person than in the pictures, at least to me.

I won't write a long history here, but here is a short list of work done in the last 4,500 km.

Replaced and fitted:

• Front and rear brake pads + brake fluid.

• Front fork seals and oil.

• Carbs serviced and synchronised.

• Whitewall tyres.

• Shock absorber serviced.

• Custom fenders.

• Custom buffalo leather seat.

• Mirrors.

• Lucas ape hanger + Vans tubes.

• HD front headlight.

• Indicators.

• Side plate bracket + light.

• Custom paintwork.

• Cobra full exhaust kit.

• Driveshaft guard.

• And various small items.

• Oil and filter changed by me.

• Only semi‑synthetic 20W‑50 V‑Twin oil used with additive for the wet clutch.

I've tried to ride only on dry days, but it has been ridden in the rain occasionally.

The bike was built carefully, not cobbled together.

An economical machine, consumes about 4 litres per 100 km.

Road insurance €100 per year.

Service parts are inexpensive.

Very good to ride and easy to handle.

Plenty of pull and eye‑catching.

You can't compare this bike to online prices as there isn't another one like it.

Recorded kilometres are visible only on the odometer.

The bike will be washed and polished before handover; in the photos it is a bit dirty.
