Jaguar XF, 2013, Oulu

Eye-catching and economical estate Jaguar looking for a new home. I am selling a well-maintained car because my own driving no longer requires diesel.

This example has Ford’s 2.2-litre Duratorq turbo-diesel engine, which is essentially the same as the durable PSA 2.2-litre diesel. Gear changes are handled by German ZF’s 8-speed automatic, which can also be used manually via the paddles behind the wheel. The car has done approx. 215,600 km and has been well cared for with regular oil changes and other necessary maintenance. In addition to the service book there is a thick bundle of receipts for services carried out between 2018–2026. The timing belt was changed at 160,000 km in 2020. Other more recent services/repairs include rear brake pads (Oct 2025), driver’s door locking mechanism (May 2026) and right front wheel bearing + ABS sensor (May 2026).

There are no known faults and no warning lights are on. The car comes with Hankook summer tyres in fair condition and well-kept Michelin studded winter tyres, both on Jaguar alloy wheels.

The Jaguar is in fine condition for its mileage and age, both externally and internally. There are no significant dents or scratches, the windscreen has no chips or cracks and the interior is also in good condition for its age: the leather is intact and no panels or other parts are loose or otherwise defective. There is no urgent need for repairs to the underbody; for example the subframe is still solid and overall the underside is in appropriate condition for the mileage. The only notable complaints / points to mention are:

• worn summer tyres need replacing for next season: the current ones tend to wander into ruts (the studded tyres do not wander and track straight). You could try balancing them if you prefer not to buy new tyres immediately

• the exhaust occasionally emits a slight rattle at around 2,100 rpm (no noise below or above this): apparently a mount is loose/has corroded enough to resonate at that engine speed. Most of the time the noise does not occur once the car is sufficiently warm
