Now affordably a Ford Focus up for auction! Selling a generally very tidy and decent Focus. The body and interior are in good condition for the age — this could still be a reliable car for a long time if you know how to work on these.

Pros:

  • Timing belt replaced! (Photo from SERVICE BOOK)

  • Overall tidy and well-presented car; engine noise and operation OK.

  • The car could still be driven before being listed at auction.

Cons / Notes:

  • A warning light is on and it indicates a gearbox fault. I took it for a drive and although the gearbox reports a fault, the car could be driven up to about 80 km/h; it intermittently jerks at low speed and, if pushed, sometimes slips into neutral. The car was brought here by recovery, so plan collection depending on distance home :)


The car is sold as seen, so I recommend collecting it on a trailer as a precaution because of the gearbox. A cheap project or even roadworthy if the fault can be easily reset/repaired!
