Here’s a nice Finnish car, a Mondeo, up for bidding with reasonable mileage and a robust 2.0-litre petrol engine!

Equipped with a proper manual gearbox, so it avoids Powershift automatic transmission issues! You could say it’s a top-notch Mondeo!

As an estate (wagon), it fits the whole family and all their luggage for trips!

-The car has an engine block heater suitable for Finnish winters with an interior socket!

-A towbar lets you tow logs to the summer cottage with a trailer!

-Cruise control makes long journeys effortless — just enjoy the changing scenery!

-An oil-consumption overhaul has been carried out, replacing the following parts: new timing chain, new connecting rod bearings, new piston rings and the cylinder head was skimmed. Unfortunately the service book and receipt have been lost.

-Good-condition summer friction tyres, tread around 7 mm!

-For winter, older studded tyres with approximately 5–6 mm tread remaining.

-The most recent service was on 13 March 2026 at around 181,451 km, but due to the lost service book there is no exact entry.

-Services in the car’s history at: 10k, 18k, 26k, 36k, 41k, 51k, 142k, 145k, 149k, 151k, 155k, 165k, 168k and 181k km.

This Mondeo unfortunately requires some minor work, but once fixed it makes a perfectly decent everyday car!

• Replacement of the throttle-body housing is likely required; the car has a running fault at idle and does not always start smoothly in first gear. This has not been investigated in detail.

• No service book.

• Refuelling does not always work: for some reason the filler nozzle cannot always be pushed in.

• Heated windscreen is fitted, but the heating elements do not warm it. This feature does not work.
