ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions introduced into indoor air cause light, positively charged airborne particles to cluster and fall out of the breathing zone as the larger heavier particles settle quickly.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds that are harmful when inhaled. Toxic compounds produced by many microbes and dispersed as aerosols = microbial toxins, are a major health risk when they reach the lungs and bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that do not disperse in air cause harm via spores, which are the producers of these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation is based on high concentrations.

When a unit produces negative ions in addition to ozone, the effect compared with ozone alone is 5–10 times greater and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials, e.g. upholstery and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles can reach the lower lungs (alveoli) by breathing and enter the bloodstream, causing serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

Ozonation and negative air ionisation remove harmful fine particles from indoor air and additionally inactivate bacteria, moulds, viruses and various gases.

    Ozonation and negative air ionisation work particularly effectively in a positively pressured building.

    Ozone and negative air ionisation together form compounds that can effectively remove microbial spores and various odours, for example sewer gases, smoke odours, bacterial and mould toxins, and persistent cooking and tobacco smells.

    Ozone and negative air ionisation also remove fine particles and MVOC and VOC compounds from the air.

    Ozonation and negative air ionisation provide pleasant, easy-to-breathe indoor air and a clean environment that is good for people.

    Together they produce very clean indoor air suitable for workspaces.

Indoor ozonation cannot be performed while people are present because ozone is produced in large quantities to kill microbial spores.
