Thermowood is suitable for all climatic conditions, requires little maintenance and does not require surface treatment. Thermowood will weather to an attractive grey under UV light if not treated with a colour-pigmented oil containing UV protection or similar. Only heat and steam are used in its production, so it is completely non-toxic
