Details of faults:

The battery discharges by itself when the battery terminal is connected; this was not investigated further. However, once the battery is charged the car starts normally and the gears appear to change as expected.

WHEN COLLECTING THE CAR BRING YOUR OWN BOOSTER/JUMP-START OR OTHER POWER SOURCE — AT THE MOMENT THE BATTERY TERMINAL IS DETACHED IN THE YARD. FOR 4 DAYS THE TERMINAL WAS DETACHED AND THE CAR STARTED IMMEDIATELY AND RAN NORMALLY ONCE THE TERMINAL WAS RECONNECTED.

THERE ALSO SEEMS TO BE SOME LOOSENESS AT THE FRONT, NOT INSPECTED.
