The car has served us exactly as a Primera should. It has taken us from A to B without problems or issues.


The car has been used as a spare car, a second car and a learner car. Now it is time to let it go and hand it to the next owner. Before us the car belonged to an elderly lady whose coordination was no longer perfect, and minor impacts have occasionally occurred. These have been repaired at times better, at times less well. This has not bothered us because the mechanics work perfectly and the car has served our needs perfectly.


The car passed its inspection on 1 June 2026. It failed the first time; I had to replace the front shock absorbers. The front brake parts are very good (I considered replacing them at the same time, but there was no need).


Negatives:

- The car has small dents here and there, some quite large. Slight surface rust on the arches and the exterior appearance is not attractive.

- The inspection noted a hole in the exhaust and a wet engine (oil). The car does not lose oil, nor does it leave marks on the gravel drive, and the exhaust hole only appears on the emissions test (oxygen value slightly high but within acceptable limits).


Positives:

- The car works. Hard to ask for more at this price for a recently inspected car; I just drove over 300 km on a work trip with it.

- Two sets of tyres

- Good equipment: e.g. air conditioning and towbar
