Land Rover Freelander, 2007, Espoo

Now for sale is an extremely rare Land Rover Freelander 2 with very reliable Volvo engineering.

Land Rover used Volvo technology in these cars, and this car therefore has Volvo’s 3.2‑litre straight-six petrol engine.

The car has been my pride and, before that, my father’s. Previous owners have also looked after this example; it has a very good service history and is a Finnish car.

The car has always been serviced proactively and Haldex services have been carried out on time. Front brake discs and pads were changed in 2023. The car passed inspection on 22 June 2026 with no remarks. There is a crack at the edge of the windscreen on the passenger side, but no repair was required as it is not in the field of view and is not large.

A facelift front bumper (model year 2012 onwards) has been fitted; the original bumper is included if wanted. It was changed for appearance, not due to damage. A snorkel made by MuddyMods has also been fitted — currently the only maker in the world producing these for this car, and they manufacture to order.

The car has new Toyo Open Country AT3 tyres on Land Rover wheels for year‑round use. No other tyres. An Android head unit with a 13.7‑inch screen and all the usual features has been fitted. Practically everything — and even more — compared with a normal tablet.

The car is overall very tidy and ready to drive, and is for sale only because we need a larger expedition vehicle after adding to the family. This is a reliable, trusted car that will last a long time and with remarkably low kilometres! I won’t let it go for a pittance; otherwise it will be kept. The car is still used daily, so kilometres will increase.
