Defects and other observations
We carried out a long test drive here and noticed the gearbox occasionally jerks when setting off and there is a slight rhythmic fluctuation in engine revs at certain rev ranges while driving. According to the previous owner (since 2015) it has been like this for several years and hasn’t affected use. The workshop suspected from the symptoms that a pressure valve might be blocked, but it was not diagnosed further. At the moment it doesn’t seem to require urgent repair, but the situation could of course change over time. I tried to film it while driving but nothing obvious shows in the video and it really is not a major issue — gear changes are very smooth and the gearbox does not slip, etc.
The electric tailgate works but the microswitch in the handle is unreliable; it opens more reliably with the remote key or the interior button. The microswitch is cheap and easy to replace if desired. It closes normally with the button.
