Safe felling requires great care and precision. Forget felling bars, old-fashioned wedges, strap ratchets and luck. The Jokijärvi wedge can be used in several ways: with a battery-powered impact wrench, a ratchet wrench or a high‑powered cordless tool. Easy to carry.

The operating principle is simple: once the felling direction is chosen and the required felling notch is cut, the wedge is inserted into the saw cut and the trigger is pressed. The threaded rod driven by the cordless tool pushes the wedge forward between the stainless steel lamellae, opening the saw cut and causing the tree to fall in the desired direction.

The mechanical felling director delivers the force needed to fell trees precisely in the desired direction without straining the faller. The safe distance must be twice the length of the tree being felled. A single 4 Ah battery can fell dozens of trees.
