The device is simple to operate: once the desired felling direction is chosen and the required notch has been cut, the wedge is pushed into the saw gap and the trigger is pressed. The threaded rod driven by the cordless tool pushes the wedge forward between the stainless-steel lamellae, opening the saw gap and causing the tree to fall in the intended direction.

The mechanical felling guide produces the force needed to fell trees precisely in the chosen direction without overstraining the cutter. Maintain a safety distance of twice the length of the tree being felled. One 4 Ah battery can fell dozens of trees.
