Toyota Verso 1.6 D-4D Active 7-seat **1-owner Finnish car**, 2014, Vihti

Now up for auction: a spacious, well-kept 7-seater Toyota Verso 1.6 D in Active trim!

This vehicle has been with the same owner since new on the west coast of Ostrobothnia.

It has been well maintained and serviced punctually — see the service book photos!

The EGR was replaced in April 2026 at Auto-Forum.

Our driver drove the car over 300 km without problems; the engine warning light was on but the car ran normally and power seemed intact. When the car arrived at our shop we read the fault codes; it showed fault code P0016, which relates to the crankshaft position sensor, and the tester suggests the timing chain may have stretched. The code was cleared and we drove almost 200 km without the light coming back on. However the engine light did reappear and was cleared again. It will likely come back on soon.

We also believe the timing chain has loosened/stretched because there is an odd noise at idle, while during driving and at higher revs the engine sounds normal. (See video of the idle noise)

On a test drive it felt very nice to drive — steering, chassis, brakes, gearbox, clutch etc. still feel very good and the engine pulls well.

It also uses very little fuel for a roomy car — long-term consumption only 5.0 L/100 km!

I believe this can be a very good car for a long time if the timing chain is replaced, or you can drive it as-is but there is a risk that if it snaps it will cause more serious damage.
