During a short test drive we made the following observations:

  • Generally seems to run reasonably and has a good sound. There will certainly be some fiddly issues typical of an old American hobby car.

  • Runs hot and is losing coolant while driving.

    - Most recently it appears coolant has mixed into the engine oil. Possibly a blown head gasket. Oil on the dipstick is the colour of milky coffee. Expansion tank fluid is clean.


The car has not been subject to a technical inspection by us and not all equipment has been tested. There may be hidden faults that we did not detect during the test drive. You can arrange to view the car in more detail before making a binding bid. Please agree your visit in advance, thank you.
