BMW 740, 2011, Kauniainen

Well-served BMW 740d for auction. During my ownership the car has mainly been used for long-distance driving from the Helsinki metropolitan area to Ostrobothnia. The car has been serviced according to the service schedule and repaired when necessary. It is unusual in that not every 7 Series is M Sport. Below are the repairs carried out at Helsinki Motor Company.

Tyre condition:

- Summer tyres on 50.8 cm (20") BMW original rims, fitted with Westlake tyres in good condition.

- Winter tyres on 45.7 cm (18") BMW original rims; many studs have come off the tyres, but there is still some tread left.

The car does not have air suspension or faults caused by it.

28 May 2026 Steering shaft replaced, front lower ball joints replaced, oil change, coolant change -44

11 March 2026 Fuel filter replaced, fuel lines cleaned, low-pressure fuel sensor replaced, high-pressure fuel pump replaced, injectors replaced, injector rail cleaned and sensors replaced, injector pipes cleaned, damper and multi-rib belt replaced, tensioner and pulley replaced, handbrake lever repair

12 December 2025 Valve cover replaced, smaller turbo and pressure control valve replaced, right front wheel bearing replaced

Additionally repaired and serviced:

17 September 2025 Breather hoses replaced, intake pipe replaced, air filter replaced, right front brake shield replaced, rear driveshaft rubber joint replaced

27 May 2025 Front anti-roll bar links replaced, injectors replaced, injector base seals replaced, air conditioning service, auxiliary water pump replaced, wheel alignment adjusted, front toe adjusted

The car is tidy, functional and extensively renovated.

The type plate is worn and a new one has been ordered.

Previous registration number: XRK-657

Manufacturer's plate damaged or difficult to read. A new type plate (manufacturer's plate) has been ordered from the importer, after which the inspection will be approved at the follow-up inspection.
