This is a small project for a DIY enthusiast. Although the car has recently passed inspection, some repairs have been found. There are no driving issues, but a closer inspection reveals repair needs. See Detected faults for details!

Now up for auction is a genuine road classic and Volvo favourite: a V70 with the powerful and reliable 2.4‑litre turbo petrol engine and automatic transmission.

Inside, comfort is provided by well‑conditioned leather seats. Timing belt changed at around 325,000 km. The original stereo remains fitted.

Defects and other observations

-Steering rack has play, front left
-'Engine system – service soon' message on display. Workshop says ETM throttle body faulty.
-Handbrake sticks. Previous owner reports something is loose and a brake hose has been routed so it rubs the tyre

-Front shock absorber leaking; rear differential and driveshaft joint leaking

-Rear anti‑roll bar bent and catching on the suspension arm

-Left front upright loose; right front wishbone front flange loose
