The customer ordered the workshop to carry out numerous works on the vehicle, including replacement of the cab. The workshop has replaced the battery, changed tyres, repaired the bumper, repaired the axle mounting, drained and cleaned the hydraulic oil tank, repaired the power take-off, and completed an inspection package: brake adjustment run, speed limiter check, exhaust emission test, and tachograph check. Repairs also include the bogie-lift, cassette device, inner door cable, Duomatic sensitivity adjustment, installation of a cattle bumper, and gear lever repair.

The attachment “Sisu” contains a printout of the work order and a detailed list of the performed works and parts.

The customer has not collected the vehicle. Therefore, under the Act on the entrepreneur's right to sell uncollected items ("Laki elinkeinonharjoittajan oikeudesta myydä noutamatta jätetty esine"), the vehicle is being sold to cover the workshop's receivables. The customer has been contacted in the legally required manner on several occasions to settle the repair costs.

The workshop is therefore entitled to sell the vehicle to cover its receivables.

Traficom's guidance on registering a pledged vehicle:

If you decide to sell the vehicle under this law, prepare a sale/transfer document with the buyer naming you as the seller and add the following to the document: that the entrepreneur declares they are selling under the Act on the entrepreneur's right to sell uncollected items.

The entrepreneur is responsible for their right to transfer the vehicle

This means the buyer can lawfully register the vehicle.
