EVO2 is a revised version of the popular Cooltron Reco 60 single-room ventilation unit. Minimalist matt-white design and a new stylish remote control.

The popular Reco 60 ventilation unit has been updated into the Reco 60 EVO2. The unit now has an elegant matt-white finish that blends better with Finnish home interiors. EVO2 can be connected directly to a 230 V mains supply unobtrusively. The unit is still supplied with a mains plug, which is the primary connection option. A completely new and more stylish remote control has also been developed for the unit.

In detached houses, ventilation accounts for about 30–40% of energy consumption; with the Reco 60 EVO2 you can recover up to 90% of this energy. The Cooltron Reco 60 converts passive ventilation into mechanical ventilation easily. The unit is designed to provide continuous and controlled ventilation to the installed space, bringing fresh air in and expelling exhaust air. The unit's ceramic heat exchanger recovers heat from the exhaust air with an efficiency of up to 90%, so in addition to fresh indoor air you can save on heating costs. In summer, the Reco 60 can reduce the cooling need of an air-source heat pump, as the exhaust air cools the heat exchanger and the incoming air.

Reco 60 is ideal for garages, storage rooms and holiday cottages. It can also improve ventilation in detached houses that use passive ventilation. Larger spaces may require multiple units to achieve sufficient ventilation. In that case the units' cycles can be timed so some exhaust while others supply fresh air simultaneously.

The ventilation unit is designed for wall-through installation. Its telescopic structure allows installation in 250 mm–400 mm thick walls. A Ø165 mm hole is required for installation. The unit is easy to power via the supplied mains plug.

The unit is dimensioned for continuous use and should remain connected to mains power. It is controlled via the supplied remote or the buttons on the unit's edge. The unit significantly reduces heat loss, pollen, moisture and carbon dioxide, creating comfortable indoor air. The unit can be fitted with a separately sold HEPA 11 filter that effectively removes allergenic particles from room air.
