Volvo used in regular driving. The car has some minor faults but with a little fixing it can still serve as a daily driver.


The front-left wheel bearing makes noise at higher speed and another joint is loose. The left rear brake pad and disc rattle while driving.
The left rear door acts up occasionally. When turning the wheel the power steering cuts out briefly when returning quickly from full lock to centre.

Otherwise the car runs and is stable to drive.


Summer tyres have 1.6 mm tread — borderline for passing inspection. The car currently has winter tyres fitted; they are in acceptable condition.

Defects and other observations

During a short test drive we made the following observations:

  • Volvo coming directly from regular use that runs reliably forwards and backwards.

  • The front-left wheel bearing makes noise at higher speeds and another suspension joint is slightly loose. The left rear brake pad and disc rattle while driving.
    The left rear door acts up occasionally. The power steering cuts out slightly when turning quickly from full lock to straight.

  • With a little fixing this can still serve as a car for a long time. Passed inspection in January 2026
