The 'Mercedes' of lifts — built to last from grandfather to great-grandchild; this beast would probably still stand even if the house exploded!

This is an old 2-post lift with adjustable lifting feet. The frame is insanely thick metal and heavy as sin. This veteran rises via a screw shaft, so it doesn't use the usual locking mechanism where you normally have to lift the car slightly before you can lower it. It stays securely up in any position and can therefore be adjusted more precisely to your desired height.

A very powerful electric motor turns the screw shaft via three belts, and a gear at the shaft's lower end drives the other post via a lower-running chain. The motor uses an industrial power socket; the cable is not included in the sale.

This is for you who don't want any tin-rattle wobbling in your garage but a genuine old, reliable iron beast that will last for generations!

The buyer must dismantle the lift themselves and arrange transport. We can help with removal. The lift is extremely heavy, so even two men may not be enough to lift it — be prepared for that risk. Both posts and the centre section detach separately.
