The popular Reco 60 ventilation unit was updated to become the Reco 60 EVO2. The unit has received an elegant matt-white finish to better blend with Finnish interiors. The EVO2 can be connected directly to a 230 V mains supply unobtrusively. The unit is still supplied with a plug, which is the primary connection option. A completely new and more stylish remote control has also been developed for the unit.

In detached houses, ventilation accounts for about 30–40% of energy use; with the Reco 60 EVO2 you can recover up to 90% of that energy. The Cooltron Reco 60 converts natural ventilation into mechanical ventilation easily. The unit is designed to provide continuous and controlled ventilation to the fitted space by bringing fresh air in and exhausting stale air. The unit's ceramic heat exchanger recovers heat from the extract air with up to 90% efficiency, so besides fresh indoor air you gain savings in heating costs. In summer Reco 60 can reduce the cooling need of an air-source heat pump by cooling the incoming air in the heat exchanger with the exhaust air.

Reco 60 is well suited for garages, storage spaces and holiday cottages. It can also improve ventilation in detached houses that rely on natural ventilation. Larger spaces may require multiple units to achieve sufficient ventilation. In that case the operation cycles can be scheduled so that some units exhaust while others supply air simultaneously.

The unit is designed for through-wall installation. The telescopic structure allows installation in wall constructions 250–400 mm thick. A 165 mm diameter hole is required for installation. The unit is easy to power using the supplied mains plug.
