This 996 has been uncompromisingly prepared specifically for track use and the car has effectively been chassis-optimised to feel like a GT3 Mk1 (excluding engine and gearbox). The car performs excellently on track but also surprisingly well on the road. No corners have been cut on engineering or appearance – a very tidy, carefully maintained example.

Engine & mechanical

• Complete engine overhaul carried out in 2015 (Saarinen + LMS): IMS, RMS, seals, bearings, piston rings, oil pump, water pump, clutch and all service parts renewed

• Motorsport oil sump with baffles + approx. 1 litre additional oil capacity

• Oil pressure relief valve renewed/updated

• Radiators renewed and GT3 centre cooler ducts added (2016), cooling system serviced

• Equal‑length exhaust manifold and full system, 200‑cell race catalytic converters (Strosek/Dansk)

• Starter replaced in 2016

• Genuine 18‑inch (457 mm) BBS LM wheels
