Has run like a dream for me for six summers, but it's finally time to switch from coastal cruising to long-distance touring.


Serviced every spring with quality oils and parts: AMSOIL oils, K&N oil filter and air filter. Most recent service done April 2026. A couple of years ago the original belt, both tyres, the battery and the breather hose etc. were replaced. All wear parts are in good condition and the bike otherwise runs as it should!


This Rod has been tastefully customised so it stands out from the crowd. Modifications include: rear section reshaped to better fit the bike’s lines, 200 mm wide rear tyre, integrated LED rear light with indicators, homemade licence-plate bracket, bar-end indicators, smoked headlight optics with powerful LED lights, instrument cluster in the tank cover, side bag and various small accessories.


Some negatives. The paintwork shows issues on close inspection (some parts were painted matt black at some point). The exhaust has cracked at the inlet and been temporarily repaired with a join pipe; it should be welded for a proper fix. I have ridden it like this for 3–4 years without problems. See the last picture. No service book, but both I and previous owners have always maintained it regularly!
