The device's operating principle is simple: once the desired felling direction is chosen and the required felling notch is cut in the tree, the wedge is inserted into the saw gap and the trigger is pressed. The threaded rod driven by the cordless tool pushes the wedge, which moves between stainless steel lamellae, forward; the saw gap opens and the tree begins to fall in the chosen direction.

The mechanical felling director produces the force needed to fell trees exactly in the desired direction easily and without straining the operator. The safety distance must be twice the height of the tree being felled. A single 4 Ah battery is enough to fell dozens of trees.
