The Kraft & Delen WEBASTO-style oil heater has an internal combustion chamber, which keeps exhaust gases contained. It does not raise humidity, so it can be used in vehicles, caravans, etc.

A thermostat measures air temperature and regulates the ambient temperature. The fan motor is not controlled by the thermostat and runs when the thermostat switches off the heating element. A self-acting thermal cut-out shuts the heater down to prevent excessive overheating.
